Explore three UNESCO World Heritage Sites on a private full-day tour from Delhi to Agra. See the Taj Mahal, Agra Fort, and Fatehpur Sikri, and have time to explore the back streets of Agra. Delhi to Agra by car
Your journey begins with a morning pick-up from your hotel or residence in Delhi / NCR city limits. You will be driven to Agra, which takes about 4 hours. Agra offers a number of excursion sites to explore.
Visit Taj Mahal
As one of the wonders of the world, an immense mausoleum of white marble the Taj Mahal was built 17th Century by Mughal emperor Shah Jahan as a mausoleum for his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal who died during childbirth.
Visit Agra Fort
Just after Taj Mahal Sightseeing, Agra Fort or the Red Fort will be the next stop of your trip. Agra Fort, the magnificent beauty of red sandstone positioned on the banks of River Yamuna. The Fort was constructed by third Mughal king Akbar between 1565 and 1573. It comprises many fairy-tale palaces, such as the Jahangir Palace and the KhasMahal, built by ShaJahan; audience halls, such as the Diwan-i-Khas; and the beautiful Nagina Mosque.
After visiting Taj, have lunch at a local Restaurant.
Head to Fatehpur Sikri
After lunch, we will head to Fatehpur Sikri, which is about an hour drive from Agra. It was built by Mughal Emperor Akbar in the late 16th century and it was abandoned after 14 years and has been described as a perfectly preserved 'Ghost Town'.
Drive Back to Delhi
Finally, you will return to Delhi with a picture of the Taj and an impression of the magic the Taj exudes, leaving a lasting impression on your mind. You will reach Delhi between 21:00 and 22:00.
